I need to get out more if I'm going to achieve my goals this year. When i do get out the sessions are good. Glad to get out on the bike this week, even if it was just for one ride. As soon as the weather picks up and the light draws out i am certain that the number of sessions will increase....BUT.... with some of my main races very early in the season (Clumber park, national du champs + World Qualifier) in the first weekend of March i need to be doing these training sessions now.
Tough race on Sunday (6th) is followed by a Mtb Duathlon (14th) and then a night race (19th) so i hope i can juggle racing with training without one effecting the other.
This is sounding a little negative, however I must add that i felt strong on the bike the other night despite little riding and I'm only 2 weeks after a pretty fast 10k pb. However i want and feel i can push onto another level which means increasing training quantity. Make hay when the sun shines and all that...still young(ish),still keen, and not injured,so it's time to make some bales !!
